Come and hear from Auckland climbers Ant Stead and Michael Pavitt on their mountaineering journey.

Starting with Snowcraft, huge packs, long ice axes and many lessons learned on Mt Ruapehu. 

Progressing to easier South Island peaks, shorter axes, ropes and more learning. Finally committing to Aoraki/Mt Cook.

Come along and hear the mistakes, and the lessons learnt, the summits bagged and missed on the way to the highest point in NZ.

Our meeting will begin at 7:00pm sharp, however please come early, grab yourself a drink and chat to like minded people. Gold coin donation appreciated from non-members.
